The Canada Fund provided 5,600 RMB; and local recipients contributed 100RMB each to purchase solar 7 panels, which cost 800RMB per unit. Recipient families will now live and work in a less smoky environment and will no longer suffer the accompanying health risks. More work at night is now possible.
